December Chaos

Hello everyone! First, how is December? Mine stinks.

I have a big dream. Dream of acing NaNoWriMo last month, but life happens, and it's the most annoying villain. It's 4 days to Christmas eve and I haven't started decorating yet!

My cat loving friend needed our support as after a home visit from a vet, her cats started dying one by one. What's worse, is that the vet who visited refused to get in touch again. A specialist said that it's a virus. Her house got infected with an unstoppable virus. She has 6 cats left out 13. She lost 7 in less than a 2 weeks. Not to mention all those street cats living in her garage all die out by sickness and dog hunt. Between helping her get to and back from the animal hospital (since she's not in the right state to drive) my son's birthday, Christmas prep and my birthday. I also lost August, my beautiful kitten of 8 months, who choose me over his first owner when he was 5-month-old.

Losing him to a virus that rot him from the inside shook me to my core. I didn't write and suffered a dangerously high fever for 8 days.

My time-travel romance IN ANOTHER TIME also takes a backseat. It will go for 3 more rounds of surgery under an excellent editor in April, after which I will most probably query for literary agents. Naturally, for those who signed up for the cover reveal, it may never happen. HOWEVER, I will still do a two book giveaway for new year.

1 is for everyone who signed up to help me with cover reveal (there are about 7 of you) 2nd is simply because I want to gift it to my bookstagram, Facebook and blog followers. The 7 who signed up for cover reveal and other newsletter subscribers will automatically be entered for the 2nd raffle. I will share the result of the 1st raffle and the link for the 2nd about 7 days before New Years Eve.

Thank you so much for reading and I wish you a beautiful Christmas!

PS:
If you’re reading this in my post archive without subscribing, please consider subscribing. Also here’s a "bribe" not to unsubscribe for now 😅

I adopted a new cat. My first sole female cat.

Her name is Venus. She's born a street cat. She used to roam the street with August when he was out. I will tell her story in my next letter. It's a story of struggle and survival... oh dramatic haha ok I'm leaving you for real now

Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤
